MEMBERSHIP WITH THE NHS

The Nanaimo Historical Society provides an opportunity for people to share their knowledge and interest in Nanaimo’s many histories. As a member of the society, you play an important role in collecting, sharing, and preserving stories of our community. With thousands of years of occupation by First Nations and over 160 years by people from dozens of countries, we have a lot to learn.

Our goal is to empower curiosity about the people, places and events that have shaped our community for present and future generations.

We welcome your addition of ideas, skills, and experiences whether you have been here for generations or a recent arrival.
